So I'm reading a new book entitled Why I Love Black Women, by the great Michael Eric Dyson. In this book he shows his appreciation towards African American women. I have no yet to finish the book. But he express his love, so sincerly. He talks about many inspiartional women that played a major role in his life and in society back then, and in society now. Why I love black women is turning out to be a self proclaimed book as of for me. Teaching me to better value black African American today! Teaching me, beacause I am a black woman in America, many people can see my, and our, intelligence, courage, beauty, and strenght. He is uplifting black African American spirits!
This book is a must READ!

"Habitat for Humanity."
This is a picture of a group of friends and I. We join thumbs together. (Idea from LIGHT) Symbolizing trust, unity, and one.
Three of the hands are people from Mississippi and Texas. And the other two are from California.
I think the picture is cool, because of the flash on my camera made the picture bright, capturing our true hand tone. (pretty funny)
